HOW NIMA DRAWS THINGS

1) THESE ARE THE SETTINGS I USE! I ONLY USE PEN AND BRUSH AND ERASER THE OTHER OPTIONS ARE PRETTY MUCH USELESS. SO YEAH THESE ARE WHAT I’M GONNA BE DRAWING WITH. (the sizes vary though)

2) Mkay, so after you have your settings, do your sketch! Don’t worry about this part because you won’t be keeping this anyways. I usually do my sketches in blue because its easier to see. 

3) Uhh, make sure you have proper refs! I used Shuli’s drawing and another one that I have saved by this lovely lady.  

4) Lighten your sketch! 

5) Uh, so you just draw over it now! Add all the details you want I guess. I don’t really spend long on this part because you’ll be going over it and refining it. 

6) This part takes the longest! Like, an hour or 2. Just go slowly and if your hands aren’t steady like mine, zoom is your best friend. So you basically just go over your original drawing, refining what you want and make sure the lines are clean! It makes the drawing look better at the end.

7) I always use this color palatte! I’m pretty generic. I won’t use all these colors but it’s always nice to have them there v o v

8) I use the darkest brown to lay down where the shadows will be. 

9) So you lay your shadows down now. I set the opacity to 50% so it doesn’t look so harsh. 

10) Now you throw on some shitty colors

10) AND VOLIA! YOU DREW A REALLY CRAPPY DRAWING.
